Due to the significant demand and excitement surrounding this year’s tournament, we will be moving public registration to a lottery system for the remaining spots.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize that registration did not go as planned Sunday morning. The level of traffic exceeded expectations, and we truly appreciate your patience as we worked through it.

If you were able to get through our website and submit a registration Sunday morning, please note that those registrations will not count. In order to ensure fairness for all teams, everyone must register during the new public registration window.

Public registration will reopen Monday, 2/16/26 at 8:00 PM, and will remain open until Tuesday, 2/17/26 at 8:00 PM. There is no need to submit your registration right at 8:00 PM — the order in which registrations are received will not matter.

Once the 24-hour registration window closes, all registered teams will be entered into a randomized drawing process, and we will select the remaining spots LIVE on Facebook on Wednesday, 2/18/26 at 8:00 PM.

In addition, our final remaining spot will be auctioned off at a later date. If your team is not selected in the lottery, this will provide another opportunity to fish in this year’s tournament.

This decision was not taken lightly. Our board has had many conversations today, and we truly believe this is the most fair and transparent way to continue the registration process given the overwhelming interest in our tournament.
